Fibre/Dacron & Stockinette
A Fibre layer is glued (with water based adhesive) around the outside of the cushion helping to pad out saggy covers, the fibre is then covered with a netting cover (stockinette) to help protect the foam and fibre from damage. We 100% recommend this for sofa cushions or similar.
We can cut you stylish bolster cushions for your bed, sofa or seating area. Simply let us know the diameter (a) and the length (b) and get an instant quote. With all bolsters we recommend getting fibre and stockinette as this will help the cover to look full. A popular foam choice is the medium density, although soft, memory foam and firm can also be chosen depending on your desired firmness.
Cylinder cushions give an efortless elegance to any seating or sleeping area. They can also be used as lumbar supports when suffering from a bad back or as draft excluders under doors.
A fun DIY sewing project. We also sell piping which is used when making bolster cushions. See here.
For b lengths longer than 1.5 meters we will have to use a water based adhesive to laminate two or more pieces together to get your desired length.
All bolsters are cut using our CNC machine and are fibre and stockinetted by hand.
